Sneak Peek: My Picks from the Dior Croisette Collection for Summer 2012 (Part 2)

Hello, sunshine! ^_^ I had to return to the Dior makeup counter to pick these gorgeous babies up to add to my selections from the fabulous Dior Croisette Summer 2012 Collection (see the rest of my picks HERE if ~~you dare~~ you're interested):

Dior Addict Lipstick in 'Casual Gold' (#414): a nude/brown shade with gold shimmer.
5 Couleurs Couture Colour Eyeshadow Palette - Croisette Edition in 'Aurora' (#654): a beautiful quint of rich, warm sun ray shades! :-) Just look at it! o_o

This is what Dior says about the inspiration behind this summer's Croisette collection:

COLOURS: A JOURNEY FROM THE SHORE TO THE HORIZON

Light-infused colours are borrowed from the Mediterranean shores. The Croisette collection cultivates the art of contrast between solar shades and sea-blues.

In a nod to Haute Couture gowns, the 5 Couleurs Croisette Edition palette is decorated with the sunray-pleat pattern that Christian Dior so loved, and is available in two Southern French harmonies (224 Swimming Pool, in shades of aquatic pastels, and 654 Aurora, inspired by the ochre tones of the Mediterranean earth).

Can't wait to play with these colours which are unique to my personal collection (also the warmest! I usually lean towards cooler shades, but I'll make this an exception) ;-). Makes me dream of a warm, sunny holiday by the infinity pool overlooking the Mediterranean sea... *sigh*
