Accident-prone Rose McGowan shares ghastly photos of her bruised arm

Fans are used to seeing her in glamorous shots.

But Rose McGowan has recently proved that she can look stunning no matter what - even with an ugly injury.

On Thursday,  the 40-year-old actress tweeted pictures of a fresh and frightening-looking bruise on her porcelain skin. 

In the photo, which is captioned 'Latest injury,' McGowan wears an exaggerated frown for the camera as she gazes from behind her purple sore with puppy-dog eyes.

The actress is in full makeup, as her long and lush lashes and perfectly arched eyebrows are forced to take a backseat to the bruise. 

When asked about how she managed to hurt her leg, McGowan answered: 'I ran into an AR-15 rifle.'
